One of the most critical features on your Grand Wagoneer is the woodgrain and the Molding that surrounds and highlights it. The original product was discontinued in the late 1980's, and the entire dealer inventory was used and gone by the early 90's. This is the replacement kit you'll want (and need) to complete your Wagoneer restoration. Wagonmaster woodgrain is professionally manufactured to the highest quality production standards and secured with 3M double-sided tape. No more rust-causing rivets.
The Open-Style Molding Kit is shown in these pictures. You will use it on 1979-1986 Full Size Jeep Grand Wagoneers. Use With Wagonmaster Cherry Oak Woodgrain. LET US KNOW WHAT YEAR MODEL you are buying the molding for. 1979-1983 have wrap-around taillights and the molding kit will need to be modified slightly for those years.
- 1979-1980 Open with Wrap Around Taillights and extra trim outside the Tailgate area
- 1981-1983 Open with Wrap-around Taillights
- 1984-1986 Open with Embedded Taillights (like 1987-1991)
Please note: We recommend warming up the trim to around 80 degrees or more before starting (heat gun)
° prior to installation and during application. This product is almost rigid at low temps, and quite pliable and soft at temps above 80 degrees. Use caution when cold to avoid detaching a corner or other pre-cut pieces.
Once the trim has been warmed to room temperature or above, gently dump the entire box upside down on a flat clean surface.
